Since announcing a licensing deal with Japan’s most successful Formula One™ driver in March of this year, sales of the Takuma Sato Limited Edition Playseat continue to grow following strong demand for the product since launch.
Branded and available in white or black, the limited edition product is exclusive to the Japanese market and will be available to customers outside the region via online sales later in the year.
On track, Sato is pursuing immediate opportunities to secure his future in Formula One after the Super Aguri Formula One Team withdrew from the Formula One World Championship™ due to financial difficulties.
In a statement from Takuma Sato, the Japanese star commented: “I will be looking at my options with my manager and will make an announcement once it is appropriate. However, I have no intention to retire from F1. I feel I am driving at the top of my game and want to give so much more to my fans and supporters in Japan and worldwide who have been so incredibly supportive to me during my whole career.”
The Takuma Sato Playseat, exclusively marketed in Japan and on-line, is available through sites including www.playseats.co.jp and www.takumasato.com.
